Medical Hypnosis      3.0 CE
You might be amazed at the amount of research that is being conducted at top research centers on hypnosis.
Medical hypnosis is being used for many different issues such as chronic pain management, childbirth and infertility, as well as hypertension, fibromyalgia and IBS.  Hypnosis creates a relaxed state for the patient as it allows the words to affect the physiological and biochemical response.
Hypnosis has also been proven to relax patients and lessens the frequency of having to reschedule tests such as MRI and cat scans.

Oncology and Hypnosis     1.5 CE
Learn how to use hypnosis to create a sense of control and hope for the patient.  Understand how the language used can decrease nausea and vomiting and make the time seem to go faster during treatments.  Some stress management techniques can also increase the immune system.

Hypnosis in Pain Management     2.0 CE
Review pain as the 5th vital sign, and why hypnosis is sanctioned by JCHO and the NIH.  When you understand the limbic system and its part in pain, you will be able to reproduce a trance-like state using guided imagery.  Understand how metaphors can reduce pain and create a positive attitude, thereby increasing healing and giving the patient a feeling of some control.

Hypnosis for the Surgical Patient  3.0 CE
Research has proven that hypnosis is effective in reducing fears and aids in healing before and after surgery.  Techniques have been developed which reduce pre-op anxiety and lessens post-op pain.  By reducing fear, it can shorten the procedure time for special procedures.

Self-Hypnosis for Stress Management     1.5 CE
Recognize the power of imprints, how they are formed and how to decrease their control.  By learning the six steps of self-hypnosis, you will reduce your own stress and improve your health.
