   July was a very busy month and we all learned so much at the National Wellness Conference.

   Perhaps the biggest lesson came when we had a good friend die.  Now let me tell you, she took really good care of herself and did everything RIGHT.  My first thought was: I am going to eat a hot fudge sundae every day!  What was the point of denying yourself......  On further thought I realized that it isn't about the length of time we are here, we are all going to die, it is about the quality not the quantity of time we spend here on the earth.  A woman came in and told me about her yoga teacher.  She teaches three 2.5-hour classes and two 1-hour beginning classes every week.  The teacher is 96 years old. We may wish to live until we are old, and perhaps we will, but more important we choose to be healthy and happy no matter how long we live.  One of the ways we do this is to live our passion.  Somewhere in your life are you living in bliss? 

 Joseph Campbell said, When you follow your bliss.. doors will open where you would not have thought there would be doors; and where there wouldn't be a door for anyone else.

   We know that we can create new neuro- pathways with our thoughts. When we think new thoughts, out of the box, we change the structure of our brains.  When we create, new axions grow reaching out to new dendrites which creates new ways to communicate.  We will be adding new ideas to make your life better.

  Everyone should have a bucket list:
   
Create a list of at least the ten most important things you can think of that would give you a life of joy, passions, and fullfillment What would you  really like to do, have, or be?  Do not say I want money, instead what would money do for you?  If you want health what could you do then or what would you feel like?  Make it personal.  Picture your ideal life.  How are you feeling when you think about each thing that you would love to create in your life.  Don't use any judgement on what you are choosing.  Once you have a list, put them in order with the piece of life you would like to create the most as #1.

   Once you have this list find away to incorporate that into your life in someway. Perhaps it will be a part of your hobbies or maybe just your dreams, but someway you can experience your bliss!  When we know what would cause us joy and move toward it our lives become filled with quality.

   We will keep adding ways to create more joy in your life so keep checking the website.  New classes will start in September in Lake Delton and a self-hypnosis we hope in Portage that is still in the works but they should all be listed here in a couple of weeks.
