Hypnosis has been proven to be of great use in the medical field.  It was accepted by the American Medical Association in 1958 as a complementary treatment.  It has also been accepted by the National Institute of Health, the American Psychiatric Association and the Catholic Church.

Hypertension, irritable bowel syndrome and insomnia are all areas which can be helped through hypnosis.  Any diagnosed disease requires a doctor's referral prior to using hypnosis.
